Mike Garcia is offering complete and sustainable native garden landscaping design, ponds, waterfalls, drip irrigation rainwater harvesting system installation, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties in the cities of the Los Angeles South Bay: Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Carson, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, Lawndale, Lomita, Rolling Hills, and Rolling Hills Estates.

Bio

Mike Garcia began his career in the horticultural field more than 30 years ago. After earning his college degree in Ornamental Horticulture, he earned his C-27 Landscape Contractor license and his D-49 Tree Service Contractors license. Since then, he has earned his international Certified Professional Pond Contractor certification. Mike holds a certification in pond building at the national level through the NAPP and is only one of eight Internationally Certified Pond Builders in the world, earned through the IPPCA.

Under his leadership, Enviroscape LA has won local, state, national, and international landscape and water feature awards from associations, including the NAPP, International Professional Pond Contractors Association (IPPCA), and California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA). Mike is a past president of the CLCA and currently serves on their local board of directors. He is also a founding member of the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden and serves on its Board.

Guest appearances on the hit television shows “Extreme Home Makeover,” HGTV’s “Landscaper’s Challenge,” and A & E’s hit series “Fix That Yard.”

Enviroscape’s most notable work can be found at the Science Museum in downtown Los Angeles. The Enviroscape crew recently finished a 50-foot waterfall at the world-famous Greystone Mansion, which is owned by the city of Beverly Hills. Last year, his company earned 4 first-place finishes at the prestigious CLCA landscape competition held in Los Angeles, California. On occasion, Mike flies to Sacramento to assist the Contractors State License Board in revising and updating the written tests. Enviroscape specializes in sustainable, drought-tolerant native gardens, ponds, subsurface drip irrigation, and rainwater harvesting.
